“As Desmond Tutu told me on a recent trip to Cape Town, “We are only the light bulbs, Richard, and our job is just to remain screwed in!”

-Richard Rohr, Falling Upward: A Spirituality for the Two Halves of Life

Vicki ShattuckVicki grew up in the Clear Lake Area with her father working at NASA and her mother owning her own business (wallpaper hanging and a part-time artist).

Vicki attended Friendswood schools and graduated from Friendswood High School (Go Mustangs!). She completed her BS in Finance from University of Houston – Clear Lake. Her career was in banking, managing a local branch and then she moved to the training department. She has been married to George for 36 years and recently retired after 40 years in banking.

Vicki sews, quilts, has a couple of chickens and beehives and recently has been taking watercolor lessons locally. Retirement gives her more time to spend with her kids, grandkids and travel with her husband. They enjoy short trips and long trips and some of them are spent in their 3-wheeler SlingShot Roadster.
