Ray Morris- Ray is a native Texan, a graduate of Texas A&M and currently lives in Dickinson. For 29 years he worked as a system-engineering manager as a NASA contractor at the Johnson Space Center. He began his art career drawing with pastel pencils in his early 40's and upon retirement began taking oil painting classes at the College of the Mainland. His paintings include a wide range of subject matters that spotlight scenes of the hill country bluebonnets, local fishing boats, wildlife, birds, people of all ages ... including a portrait of the former Helen Hall Library Director, Mary Susan Matthews.  He is the founder and current chairman of the board of the Dickinson Texas Art Guild.
